Vale of Glamorgan Public Services Draft Well-being Assessment Consultation Workshop – 3rd February 2022

As you may be aware the Vale Public Services Board (PSB) has this week launched its consultation on the draft Well-being Assessment.  The Assessment is a statutory requirement of the PSB and considers the environmental, economic, social and cultural well-being of the Vale of Glamorgan.  The Assessment will be published in April and will inform a new PSB Well-being Plan which will be published in 2023.

The Well-being Assessment has drawn on a range of national and local data, research and evidence and is made up of a suite of reports which bring together the many different factors which impact on our well-being. The assessment is structured by a number of reports,  A View of the Vale of Glamorgan – An Assessment of Current and Future Well-being brings together a summary of the findings of the assessment and there are also four detailed themed reports which can also be accessed through this report.

As part of the consultation we are holding a workshop via Microsoft teams for stakeholders 2-4 pm on the 3rd February.   This will provide an opportunity to explain more about how the assessment has been undertaken, the content and findings and how it will be used.

If you or a colleague would like to join the workshop please email  ValePSB@valeofglamorgan.gov.uk  and we will send out more details about the workshop and joining instructions nearer the date.

If you are unable to attend the workshop we would still appreciate any feedback on the assessment either via the  online survey  or by emailing ValePSB@valeofglamorgan.gov.uk  by the 13th February 2022.
