The Regional Partnership Board’s ambition is to improve the health and wellbeing of our citizens and to drive the integration of NHS, social care and third sector services for the benefit of local people. Research, innovation and improvement is a really important part of this as we find new ways of working. Our RIIC Hub supports the RPB to do this and we’d like you to join us to work on developing innovative solutions to some old problems.
We’re developing a ‘bright spots’ programme where we can shine a light on problems that need to be unpicked that will help us develop integrated services. We want you to help us find the issues that need to be addressed and to work with our practitioners and clinicians to test out new ideas and bring an innovative approach.
We’re looking for people from all kinds of practice or academic background. You’ll be inquisitive and curious and have the desire to improve services in your blood. Confidence in designing and developing projects at speed is also important as this is a short fixed-term contract role which support the work of the RI&IC. You’ll also be part of the Dragon’s Heart Institute which is the host for our RIIC hub.
The programme will bring together a number of individual projects and services lead by various partners including the two Local Authorities, the Health Board and Third Sector organisations.
For a short period of time, you’ll work on some big ideas and help to test them and turn them into reality. You’ll be organized and have project management skills but most importantly will be able to work with people across organisations, build relationships rapidly, inspire and be inspired and be open to new ways of thinking.
You’ll be passionate about improving the experience of health and social care and can inspire colleagues across our partnership to make change happen.
If this sound like you and you want to take some time out of your current role to work on our bright spots programme, send us an expression of interest setting out your experience and skills and your thoughts on some of the areas of opportunity that you’d like to explore and develop.
Please send expressions of interest to:
