UK American Express Leadership Academy
The UK American Express Leadership Academy (AmEx) is a free leadership development programme for emerging leaders in the not-for-profit sector in the UK. It will take place in-person from 22-26 November in London. The Academy will run in-person, subject to local and national COVID 19 guidelines and/or restrictions. If we are unable to run the Academy in person, it will continue to go ahead as a hybrid/online programme, with an opportunity to connect in person at a later stage.
The UK Academy will focus on building successful leadership skills needed to be an effective leader, both at work and in society. It will convene 45 participants together with established not-for-profit leaders, senior leaders from a range of other sectors and American Express senior executives. Founded in 2008, the AmEx builds the personal, business and leadership skills of emerging not-for-profit and social purpose leaders through multi-day, in-person trainings. In keeping with this vision, the American Express Leadership Academy UK was launched in partnership with Common Purpose in 2010.
