Trauma-Informed Approaches to Hoarding Training

Join health and housing professionals to explore what it means to hoard, and what new models of support could look like.

The Trauma-Informed Approaches to Hoarding Disorder training considers the psychology behind hoarding behaviours, as well as through the lens of a tenancy governance issue. Delivered by Kayley Hyman, director of Holistic Hoarding, the training course has been taken up by the Chartered Institute of Housing as part of their core training schedule, and the NHS Recovery College.

This online course will consider hoarding disorder in a holistic and therapeutic context, exploring alternatives to house clearances and eviction, and looking at the positives to buying into a new model of support for this incredibly complex and often misunderstood illness.

*Fully subsidised spaces are available for those on a limited income, or those with lived experience of hoarding. Please contact Holistic Hoarding for more information.
