Time to reset and maximise our opportunity – life after EU funding

We are pleased to invite you to an online event WCVA is organising on 13 July between 10 am-11.30 am, aiming to bring people from the voluntary sector together to discuss how we can maximise our opportunities in the post-Brexit funding landscape. We will need to use our collective influence to ensure the new structures developed to distribute replacement EU funding meet the needs of our diverse communities and that the funds are co-ordinated and add value for the remainder of the European funding programme.

The aim of the event is to bring together people with an interest in this work to provide an update on what we know so far and develop a workplan for the future. The session is open to any voluntary organisation with an interest in the areas covered by the replacement funds not just those who have previously accessed European funding. We will need to continue to build and strengthen relationships and collectively demonstrate the impact the voluntary sector in Wales can have in reducing disparities in social and economic wellbeing within and between places and people.
