Strong Communities Grant Open

I am pleased to let you know that the SCGF is open for applications from today Wednesday 15th March and will remain open for 6 weeks until Wednesday 26th April 2023.

The Strong Communities Grant Fund offers grants of up to £25,000 to community groups, voluntary organisations and Town and Community Councils towards the cost of initiatives within the Vale of Glamorgan that help to support the Council’s vision of “Strong Communities with a bright future”.  The Fund aims to improve the resilience of organisations/groups or their activities by funding projects that add value to their current work, can demonstrate longer term sustainability and reduce reliance on grant funding in the future.

Interested groups should get in touch by emailing scgfapplications@valeofglamorgan.gov.uk , including a short paragraph outlining the project idea and we will respond with advice on eligibility and how to make an application.
