St. Athan Community, Information and Social Event on Wednesday 19th July 2023

On behalf of St. Athan Community Council and Age Friendly Vale, I would like to invite you to the St. Athan Community, Information and Social Event on Wednesday 19th July 2023 from 10am – 1pm at the Paul Lewis Community Centre, Glyndwr Avenue, St. Athan, CF62 4PP.

The event is a chance for the community to come together and socialise whilst enjoying free refreshments and home baked cakes. There will be 20 stall holders including Age Connects, Digital Communities Wales, Hafod Housing and Communities for Work on hand to offer information and support to the public. Also in attendance will be the St. Athan Community Hub and Library and The Gathering Place, showcasing their offerings to the local community.

As well as all this we will have:

• A FREE raffle with two great prizes ‘£50 cash voucher for the Co-op’ and ‘a meal for 2 at The Three Horseshoes, St. Athan’.

• 11am - A soft launch of the St. Athan Strollers with a short walk around the playing field lead by Valeways and the Vale of Glamorgan Council’s Healthy Living Team.

• 12pm - 30 minute Welsh language learning taster delivered by Learn Welsh the Vale.

• Crafting of garden ornaments which will be gifted to local care home residents at Milsom House for display in their gardens.
