Sport and Physical Activity: Help us to map out good practice across Wales
Cardiff Met are currently working with Sport Wales to tackle a lack of participation in sport and physical activity, and to work towards addressing inequalities in participation across Wales. Our shared vision is of a Wales where everyone is active.
To do this, we need to gather insights and experiences from a diverse range of people and sectors who might have an influence on physical activity and sport in Wales. This is where we need your help in completing a brief survey.
Before you look at the survey, pause to think:
Imagine a Wales where everyone is active: what benefits would that bring?
How does tackling a lack of participation in sport and physical activity, and inequalities in participation matter to you?
What would help to achieve a Wales where everyone is active, and what is currently getting in the way?
We are inviting you to complete an online survey which will allow us to identify successes, challenges and ideas that people have around making sport and physical activity more inclusive for everyone in Wales.
We know there are thousands of people across the country who are doing fantastic work supporting their communities to be active. We want to better understand what works, what doesn’t, and why, and look at how we can use the experiences of those already doing excellent work to help others.
We’re particularly interested in learning more from those who are creating opportunities for children and young people (in either a paid or voluntary role).
As well as completing the survey we’d also like you to please forward this email on to friends or contacts who may also be interested in sharing their views – we want to learn from as many people as possible.
The survey takes approximately 10-15 minutes to complete. We would really value your contribution to help to shape the future of sport in Wales.
