Respite Grant for unpaid carers
The Care Collective are currently able to offer a Respite Grant to unpaid carers within Cardiff & Vale of Glamorgan.
Many unpaid carers are facing unprecedented pressures during the cost of living crisis and rising home care costs.
The respite grant will make all the difference to carers who are in real need of a rest or a break from their caring role.
The grant may cover a variety of respite options, from spa breaks to gym membership and more.
As always, our Carers Gateway number for carers to call is 02921 921 024, we would also like to encourage partners to fill the application form out on behalf of the carer if they cannot do so (using the link below). Carers can also apply directly using the link below.
Further information about available grants is on our website Want To Apply for A Grant - South East Wales - The Care Collective
Please note;
Email address (if the carer doesn’t have one): Trusted partners such as social services (social workers) and Citizens Advice for example can put their email address down if the carer does not have an email themselves. It is their responsibility then to figure out how they will then arrange to pass voucher details to the carer.
If you have any questions, or need any more information, please don’t hesitate to contact Thomas Hurlock-Norton, Carers Engagement Officer, The Care Collective on 07593 435579, by email thomas.hurlock-norton@thecarecollective.wales or call the Gateway number above
