Research on the employment of PAs in Social Care in Wales - interviews with PAs and Employers
I write regarding the above-mentioned study that focuses on Personal Assistants and their Employers (DP recipients). Commissioned by the Welsh Government, USW (Mark Llewellyn) is leading the study in partnership with Data Cymru.
‘Research on the employment of PAs in Social Care in Wales’ is part of the work programme of the Social Care Fair Work Forum set up in September 2020 by the Deputy Minister for Social Services (https://gov.wales/social-care-fair-work-forum). The Forum is a social partnership forum consisting of trade unions (GMB and Unite), employer representatives including the Association of Directors of Social Services Cymru, Social Care Wales and Care Forum Wales and the Welsh Government to address issues of fair work within the social care workforce.
