Raise Awareness of Arthritis

Are you aged 16 – 25?

We are looking for volunteers in this age group to raise awareness of the needs of young people with arthritis.

Cymru Versus Arthritis is here to make sure that young people with arthritis in Wales have the support and information they need to live well with their condition.

Our well-established Young People and Families services team are supportive and passionate about providing high quality services and you will play a pivotal role in helping us to deliver all aspects of our services to young people in the community.

Key duties will include:

• Representing and promoting Cymru Versus Arthritis and raising awareness of the needs of young people with arthritis

• You will be a positive role model for young people and act as a leader on residential events / workshops / activities organised through the Young People and Families Service

• You will also help with creative content on social media

Time commitment: Ideally we would like someone who can commit to 1 year volunteering as a minimum. Estimated hours will be on average 4 to 8 per month, some of which will be carried out over weekends (for events).
Expenses reimbursed: Reasonable expenses are reimbursed.
Training: Full training is provided.
Selection procedures: An informal discussion, application form completion, 2 references and a disclosure and barring check (cost met by organisation).
