Police Support Volunteers in the Cardiff & Vale area

Have you ever thought about joining #TeamSWP as a Police Support Volunteer ?
We are currently looking for volunteers to join us in#Cardiff and the #ValeofGlamorgan.

As a Police Support Volunteer you will be involved with the following, and much more:

• Cardiff Safety Bus

• Bike-marking events

• Supporting a number of departments including Community Safety and Neighbourhood Policing Teams

• Working alongside officers and PCSOs at music events and other large events held in Cardiff

• Attending training sessions including conflict management, customer service skills and first aid

• Supporting the University Liaison Team during the Freshers period

To apply you must:
Be 18+
Have been a resident of the UK for more than a year

Applications are open to both the student community and general public in the Cardiff and Vale area.

Commitments:
Student Volunteers are expected to complete 12 hours per month (during the academic year)
Community Volunteers are expected to completed 8 hours per month (during the calendar year)
