New online Peer Support groups - Open to anyone involved in running a care home

A recognised way to wellbeing is through connecting with other people.

Building good relationships with your peers (other people who run care homes) can provide you with support, ideas, or just someone to talk to.

Being involved in peer support can really help you when you feel times are demanding and challenging.

Social Care Wales are offering you a space to come together for peer support with other people also involved in running a care home in Wales.

People who have already attended peer support said it provided a real source of wellbeing support for them and especially during the challenges of the pandemic. We recognise that post pandemic challenges exist for the care sector so have arranged a number of sessions to give you a safe and confidential space to come together every fortnight over the winter months.

Sessions are open every other Wednesday (via zoom) 14:00 - 15:30

2nd November 2022 (The first session will be an informal drop in to hear what peer support is and meet other managers)
