Neighbourhood Watch: Supporting Our Community Through the Digital Switch-Over

A unique shift is happening in our digital world, and Neighbourhood Watch is excited to help our community understanding the “Digital Switch-Over.” This transformation is more than just a technological update; it's a significant change impacting how we connect with each other. As the landscape of communications shifts, our goal is to make sure no one is left behind.

So far, we’ve organized an impressive 60 events with the help of 145 dedicated volunteers, who have welcomed nearly 2000 attendees to learn more about this transition. We’ve provided a space where people can ask questions, express concerns, and receive the support they need.

Making Connections in a Changing World.

Through our face-to-face events, we’ve been able to meet so many people who feel reassured by having real-time conversations. This personal connection makes a big difference in alleviating worries about how digital changes might affect their lives. By engaging with the community directly, we aim to be a reliable source of support and information.

What is the feedback so far.

Our events have already made a positive impact, with attendees describing them as “Helpful,” “Informative,” “Friendly,” and “Reassuring.” These words mean the world to us, as our goal is to give everyone in our community the confidence they need to navigate the digital switchover. Volunteers have enjoyed these events just as much, with many hosting multiple sessions in their local areas. Their dedication is making a tangible difference, strengthening connections and building a more resilient, informed community.

Get Involved!

We are planning more events for 2025 and we need your help!

If you have ideas on where our support could be most effective, or if you’re interested in volunteering to bring more events to life, we’d love to hear from you. Your involvement can make all the difference in helping our neighbours transition smoothly to this new era.
