Motion Control Volunteer Trustees required

Volunteer Trustees required for community dance charity in Vale of Glamorgan 

Motion Control Dance is looking for people with passion, energy and commitment to join our Trustee Board, to help drive the organisation forward, and is looking to recruit Board Members.

Based in the Vale of Glamorgan, we believe that dance has the ability to enrich people's lives.  We lead classes and projects with people of all ages and abilities in a range of settings, including schools, village halls and community centres, and we also create performances with our participants for community events.

We would particularly welcome applications to become board members from people with knowledge and experience in the following areas:

*HR  *Health  *Education  *Disability

Our board members have a vital role in the setting and achieving of Motion Control Dance ambitions. The Board of trustees meets four times a year and are expected to attend performances and represent the Company in support of advocacy. The expected time commitment is one day per month.

Time commitment:  A suggested time commitment is 1 day per week.
Expenses reimbursed: Travel expenses are reimbursed.
Training provided: Full training is provided.
Selection procedure: Informal discussion, application form completion and 2 references.
