Llanilltyd Fawr in Flower Needs You!

Llanilltyd Fawr in Flower (LFF) is a small, financially sound Charity based in Llantwit Major. Our mission is to improve the environment of our Town by planting beds, planters, baskets and green spaces for the benefit of the townspeople, its businesses and visitors.

Ours is a social group and our 30 active members, both women and men, plant, water and weed the beds and tubs we maintain. We plant out twice each year, typically in May for Summer planting and in October to plant for the following Spring.

We also raise funds to cover the costs of buying plants, feed and compost, replacement of planters or baskets as well as watering of these through the summer months and we have a good track record of successful applications for grants and for general fundraising activities in the Town. LFF holds regular coffee mornings and other social events when members can meet together, enjoying one another’s company and making new, lasting friendships.

Our group is particularly looking for members who would be interested in becoming Trustees of our Charity, to chair our meetings, to take minutes or to be our Treasurer.
