Join the Carers Wales team as we celebrate Active April 2024, by taking in some sea air and getting a little light exercise.

When: Friday 26th April, 11am

Where: Whitmore Bay, Barry Island, Vale of Glamorgan

Meeting Time: 10:30am, Marcos Café, Barry Island

This walk is one of many activities being delivered across Carers Active April.  Active April is a month-long Carers UK campaign to raise awareness of the importance of physical activity for carers and highlight the benefits to carers of moving more.  We believe that carers should be able to be active in a way that’s achievable, accessible, and affordable. Many carers have seen their own health and wellbeing impacted by their caring responsibilities, so finding ways to improve carers’ health and wellbeing is crucial.
