Invitation from the Vale 50+ Strategy Forum
The Forum is excited to announce the first of three planned ‘Have Your Say’ events for this year. Join us on Thursday, March 20th, from 2pm to 4pm at Dinas Powys Library and Activity Centre, located at Fair Oaks, Dinas Powys, CF64 4QU.
The event will be an opportunity to learn more about the Forum, have your say on important matters that affect over fifties and find out what support and activities are available in your community to help you live and age well.
We will be joined by the Older People’s Commissioner for Wales team, Age Friendly Vale and the Vale Council’s Healthy Living Officer, as well as local community groups such as Dinas Powys Voluntary Concern, The Dwelling Place, Gentle Years Yoga and the library’s resident scrabble group.
We would be grateful if you could share the poster with your networks and anyone you feel would like to come along. We encourage you to print the poster if you are able and attach it to your/a local notice board to ensure we reach those who are not online.
Free refreshments, fruit and biscuits will be on offer in the Centre’s café for all to enjoy.
Accessibility: Access to the building is via automatic doors. The library is on one level and there is a low level counter with a hearing loop.
