International Women’s Day Coffee Morning

Barry Ladies Choir are looking forward to singing at Barry Town Council’s International Women’s Day coffee morning on Friday 7th March.

They are singing “Blue Moon” as a tribute to Ella Fitzgerald & Billie Holiday and then “Feed the Birds” as a tribute to Julie Andrews.

Their MD will also be talking a bit about a local composer Grace Williams for whom next year is the 120th anniversary of her birth.

Since September they have also been singing music by the inspirational singers Bonnie Tyler & Dolly Parton!

This event is FREE for all to attend. The event will also feature fantastic guest speakers and a chance to honour the inspirational women in our lives.

Event is 10am -1pm at Cemetery Approach Community Centre, Barry CF62 8BQ
