Influencing opportunity: Welsh Government draft Budget 2023-24

WCVA’s Finance Committee has launched its annual consultation into Welsh Government’s draft Budget for the upcoming year. The aim of this consultation is to explore expectations of the Budget for 2023-24, and inform scrutiny of it.

For the first time, this consultation includes a direct question about support for the voluntary sector.

WCVA will be responding to this consultation. They hope to include as wide and diverse a range of voluntary sector voices as possible for inclusion in this response and so have launched a survey to gather the opinions of the sector.

This is an important opportunity for the voluntary sector to influence scrutiny of the upcoming Budget and the direction of future Budgets. You do not have to answer every question – feel free to answer as many or as few as you please, although respondents are urged to at least answer question 2 on voluntary sector support.

This survey will close on Friday 4th November 2022.

Please contact David Cook, WCVA Policy Officer, on dcook@wcva.cymru with any questions.
