Help with our Warm Space

We run a Warm Space every Wednesday from 12:30 - 3.30pm. As this service has become so popular we would like an extra volunteer to oversee this project.

Your main duties would be:

• to set up the space - tables and chairs, teas/coffees/urn etc.

• to help everyone to take a ticket number ready for their space in the foodshare queue (starting at 2pm)

• to keep the area clean and tidy and report any incidences to the Centre Manage

Ideally, we would be looking for someone who is punctual and reliable on a weekly basis.  You would also enjoy working with the public and be efficient in using your initiative.

Our current volunteer complement have been helping in this area for over 5 years as it is a friendly and relaxed atmosphere with small added incentives to show appreciation of the work involved.

Time commitment:  Wednesdays from 12:30 - 3.30pm.
Expenses reimbursed: Travel expenses are not reimbursed.
Training provided: Full training is provided.
Selection procedure: Informal discussion, application form completion and 2 references.
