Girlguiding Unit Helper

At the heart of Guiding are unit meetings that our girls come along to regularly.

Volunteering at unit meetings means getting stuck in, meeting new people and running activities that help our girls know that they can do anything. If you are aged 18+ why not come and join us?

You’ll be volunteering directly with girls aged5 - 7 years old.

You’ll work alongside other volunteers to give girls fun, friendship, challenge and adventure.

There’s no responsibility for planning in their role but you’ll be the extra pair of hands needed to make unit meetings happen.

The Rainbow unit helper will support the other adult volunteers to run the weekly meetings as well as trips which take place both during and outside of meeting hours.
