Free Scams Awareness training

As there has been a 90% increase in consumer scams due to COVID-19, costing the economy between £5-10 billion.  In response to this Citizens Advice Cardiff and Vale, in partnership with Trading Standards want to increase our engagement with local businesses, organisations and community groups to help raise awareness of scams within our local communities.    We want to empower, enhance and engage with you, by offering free training via the Trading Standards ‘Friends Against Scams’ initiative.  We will also provide free resources to raise awareness, knowledge and understanding on how to spot a scam, ways to protect yourself from scams, as well how to get help if things go wrong.
