Food Vale Festival

We're excited to announce that we have our second Food Vale festival planned this Spring March 17th-27th.

If you would like to plan an activity as part of the @thevalefood Spring Festival – whether it be a seed swap at a local growing space, a planting demo, a food waste event or more, get in touch!

This year, we are hopeful that we can plan a range of online and in-person activities across the Vale as part of this festival, and we are looking for groups across the Vale who would like to get involved in running healthy & sustainable food activities from March 17th-27th. It could be a seed swap at a local growing space, a planting demo, a composting session, a food waste event or a wassailing at a local orchard or more. We have a small amount of funding that may be able to support activities.

Are YOU a budding filmmaker?

We’re challenging YOU to make a film about what ‘Good Food’ means to you! It doesn’t have to be flashy – simply shoot on your smartphone or borrow a friend’s.

So whether you are a local growing group, a school, a Vale-based farm or even a passionate local resident, we want to hear your ideas for what ‘Good Food’ means!

All videos to be submitted by March 14th.

If you would like to take part, contact Food Vale at Food.Vale.CAV@wales.nhs.uk
