Food Collection Delivery Driver

The volunteer driver aged 18+ would be responsible for collecting food from a local supermarket/s and delivering to CF61 in Llantwit Major. The food will need to be delivered to CF61 on the Thursday morning (or the Wednesday evening if needed). You would be required to

• drive to various local supermarkets and collect food items for the Foodshare Project

• converse with Supermarket staff to ensure that the food collected is correct and fit for purpose

• deliver collected food to CF61

This could be a weekly opportunity or you could join a bank of volunteers that will be called upon as and when needed.  You would need to use your own car preferably with a large boot / back seat.

Time commitment: A suggested weekly time commitment of 1 – 1 ½ hours.  On a Wednesday evening, sometimes a Thursday morning.
Expenses reimbursed: Travel expenses are reimbursed.
Training provided: In-house training is provided.
Selection procedures: An informal discussion, application form completion and 2 references.
