EVisa Engagement Event – Home Office

Join us at this event where we’ll be discussing how UK Government is replacing physical immigration documents with a digital proof of immigration status called an eVisa, and how this change will affect you.

EVisas are a key part of delivering a ‘digital-by-default’ border and immigration system by 2025.

In 2024 customers must take action to create a UKVI account and access their eVisa. This change impacts anyone who currently proves their immigration status using a physical immigration document, such as a biometric residence permit or card, or legacy paper document, such as a passport containing ink stamps or a vignette visa sticker.

What you’ll learn at this event:

  • The roll-out of eVisa : Understand the timeline and actions you need to take.

  • The advantages of eVisa : Explore the benefits of a digital immigration status.

  • Sharing your status : Learn how you’ll share your immigration status in the future.

  • UKVI account maintenance : Understand the importance of keeping your account up to date.

  • Information for checkers : Essential information for landlords, employers, and other status checkers.

  • Support resources : Discover where to find help and support.

  • Raising awareness : Learn how your organisation can help facilitate this transition.

There will be opportunities for Q&A at this event, and also a surgery offering practical support on the eVisa process.

Don’t miss this opportunity to stay informed and prepared.

We look forward to seeing you there.
