Community Safety Engagement

The Community Safety Team have been visiting locations across Vale reminding people how they can report anti-social behaviour. We have also conducted patrols in areas where we have received reports of ASB or breaches of by-laws.

A letter drop was conducted in the area surrounding Cwrt Y Vil playing fields in Penarth and Brig Y Don Carpark Ogmore-By-Sea due to concerns regarding anti-social behaviour. We are monitoring ASB and are asking those who witness or are victim of it to report it.

Penarth Marina Neighbourhood Watch assisted the Community Safety Team in informing residents on how to report any anti-social behaviour on a recent letter drop. If you are interested in joining NHW then please email - VOGNW@outlook.com.
Additionally, members of the Community Safety Team conducted a further patrol of Penarth Marina, we are pleased to say all was in order.

Members of the Community Safety Team continue to monitor Rhoose Point and have conducted patrols due to reports of anti-social behaviour and breaches of by-laws. There were no concerns noted on those occasions.

We will continue to monitor anti-social behaviour reports and take action when necessary. To report ASB phone 101 (999 in an emergency) or report online for the South Wales Police website. To report anything to the Council please phone 01446 700111.
