Community Leafleting Volunteer

The Community Leaflet Volunteer aged 18+ will be out and about in the community posting leaflets through the doors of residents and handing out batches of posters and leaflets to local businesses.  You will:

• distribute City Hospice branded materials and leaflets to local communities

• maintain regular communication with the Volunteer Officer and Community Fundraiser on progress of distribution

• provide basic information about City Hospice if asked by people in the community and business owners.

• manage your own time and workload effectively to ensure leaflets are distributed by set deadlines (if necessary)

Time commitment: A suggested time of 1-2 hours when required (not necessarily weekly).  Days and times completely flexible to the volunteer’s availability. 
Expenses reimbursed: Out of pocket expenses are reimbursed.
Training provided: Full training is provided.
Selection procedures: An informal discussion, application form completion and 2 references .
