CLA Charitable Trust
The CLA Charitable Trust is dedicated to helping those who are disabled or disadvantaged to visit and participate in learning experiences about the countryside.
Priorities are children and young people, disadvantaged financially, physically, mentally, or from areas of deprivation.
The objects of the trust are:
Advancing people’s physical and mental health and wellbeing through financial support of charities, not-for-profit organisations and social enterprises, which are delivering access, recreational and educational opportunities within and about the countryside.
To promote and encourage education in sustainable farming, food production and rural land management.
Who can apply
To be eligible for funding, organistions must be either a registered charity or not-for-profit organisation e.g. a social enterprise or Community Interest Company.
Restrictions
Previous applicants need to wait 3 years before reapplying.
Eligible expenditure
The trustees will consider applications for a wide range of expenditure including running costs, salaries, capital expenditure and project costs.

To apply for funding complete an application form and send this along with a project budget and most recent set of organisational accounts.

provide opportunities for education about the countryside
are active in England and / or Wales only
