Changes to Universal Credit - Here's how Welsh Water can help.

The Universal Credit increase is coming to an end – here’s how Welsh Water can help

As you’ll be aware the Universal Credit temporary increase of £20 per week is coming to an end.

I’m sure many of your customers are starting to worry about paying bills when this increase stops, so we wanted to take this opportunity to remind you of how our schemes could help offset the loss in income.

What support is available for you and your customers?

·       Tariffs to make your customer’s bill more affordable with potential savings of up to £250 per year

·       Schemes to support with clearing any arrears on previous bills

·       Water Meters can benefit customers who live alone or are low users of water

·       Priority Services Register to provide FREE practical support for those who may need a little extra help

·       Free support services for your organisation to enable customers to gain direct access to our Social Schemes

We’d like to offer some FREE training to any of your colleagues who need to better understand how our support services could help your customers maximise their income. We can also offer refresher sessions for those who have already received our training and awareness and would like to get up to speed with the latest changes.

·       Free Refresher & training sessions are being held virtually, don’t miss out book your place now!

From 22nd September we’ll also be running a Social Media advertisement, please look out for our post and share it to ensure as many of our customers as possible see the support available.
