Carers Wales event with Wales Co-operative Centre

Carers Wales is delighted to be jointly hosting an event with Wales Co-operative Centre on co-operative and social enterprise opportunities for unpaid carers.  

The online event is taking place on 14th September from 10-11am on Zoom.

 The agenda for the event:

1. Welcome and overview of the opportunities for carers for co-operatives and social enterprises

2. Overview of support available from Wales Co-operative Centre

3. Discussion about potential social enterprises/co-ops that could be established by carers

4. Wrap up and summarise actions

The event is for unpaid carers as well as professionals supporting carers.  

We will also be launching new joint information guide for unpaid carers at the event. The guide introduces the opportunities that collaborative

working via social enterprises and co-operatives can offer to support carers in their caring role. The guide is funded by Welsh Government.
