Carers Support Fund

Carers Trust would like to announce that there is an opportunity for organisations to support unpaid carers in the south east Wales area through the Carers Support Fund. The funding will be allocated to organisations with links to the areas of benefit and who can demonstrate their ability to reach carers in a timely manner. Priority is given to organisations that can support the widest range of carer communities i.e., not organisations focused on supporting carers with disease specific conditions in order to increase accessibility.

Carers Support Fund

The Carers Support Fund aims to create immediate and sustainable services to reduce the effects and impact of financial hardship for unpaid carers. Carers Trust has an available budget of approximately £430,000 to be distributed with a minimum of 40% of funding to be allocated to direct carers grants.

Please see the Programme Guidance Notes [csfw-guidance-notes.pdf] and Application Form [csfw-application-form.doc] and Budget Template [ csfw-budget-template.xlsx] for more information about the programme and how to apply.

Carers Support Fund applications should be submitted to csfw@carers.org by 10am Wednesday 24th July 2024.
