Cardiff and Vale Regional Partnership Board Population Needs Assessment – Call for Expressions of Interest
The Social Services and Well-being (Wales) Act 2014 requires each region in Wales to prepare and publish a Population Needs Assessment every five years. The assessment will focus on gaining a more detailed understanding of the needs for care and support amongst different groups of people within the population, and will help improve the range of care and support services we have now, and plan for what we will need in the years to come.
The next Population Needs Assessment will be published in April next year, and Cardiff Third Sector Council, funded by the Regional Partnership Board and working in collaboration with Glamorgan Voluntary Services, will be leading on engaging with citizens to identify the key care and support needs for people in Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan. We are committed to ensuring as many people as possible have the opportunity to contribute to the assessment and help to shape current and future care and support services.
We are keen to invite voluntary and community services to ensure your service users and their carers are involved. We are particularly looking for third sector groups and organisations that can engage with people across different population groups to run focus groups and/or promote our on-line questionnaire.
Expressions of interest are invited from third sector organisations across Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan. We are working with short timelines, and will be able to provide funding of up to £550 per session to support third sector groups and organisations in the region with the cost of organising and running engagement sessions. All engagement activities will need to be completed and information submitted to us no later than 12 noon on Friday 22nd October 2021.
To get involved, please follow the link below and return to enquiries@c3sc.org.uk by 5pm, on Tuesday 21st September 2021. To request a form in welsh, other requirements or discuss this opportunity further, you can email Anna at anna.r@c3sc.org.uk.
