Beyond Words: Inclusive Communication Skills Training for the Events Sector
Mon 25 Nov 2024 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Sports Wales National Centre | Canolfan Genedlaethol Chwaraeon Cymru, CF11 9SW
We’re excited to invite you to a free pilot session of our Inclusivity Training, designed specifically for the events industry in Wales. Do you run an events company or manage a team that delivers events? This is a great opportunity for your business to gain practical insights on how to better support customers and staff with learning disabilities and/or autism. Whether you’re part of the hospitality sector, festivals, or any events-based business, this training will help you make your events more welcoming and accessible to everyone.
With thanks to funding from Welsh Government through Event Wales, this bespoke training aims to improve how event staff interact with people with learning disabilities and/or autism, creating more inclusive and welcoming experiences at events across Wales and beyond.
In this all-day session, we will have relaxed group discussions and interactive roleplay with Hijinx actors and trained facilitators. You will have the opportunity to ask questions in a non-judgmental, supportive space, and learn from the lived experience of our actors.
Claim a free place for your business!
As a thank you for helping us fine-tune this new programme, we’re offering a complimentary place for your business. In return, we’d love to hear your thoughts and feedback at the end of the session.
