Barry Ladies Choir are celebrating!

Barry Ladies Choir are celebrating their first term with their new musical director Emily Gait-Scaglioni with a joyful Christmas Showcase!

7pm Tuesday 3rd December at Holy Trinity Hall, Aberystwyth Crescent, Barry CF62 7EH.

Entry is free but donations are welcome.

Joined by a Capella group Spectrum Singers from Penarth, Barry Ladies Choir will be presenting a festive evening featuring a mix of songs from musicals, Welsh classics, popular music and plenty of Christmas cheer.

The concert will also feature solos from local music students.

The show will be approximately 7-8.15pm with a short 10 minute break. After that it will be time to enjoy lots of delicious festive refreshments and see who’s won the raffle!

Highlights from the night will include ‘Nine to Five’ ‘Rockin’ Around The Christmas Tree’ ‘A Nightingale Sang In Berkeley Square’ & ‘Calon Lan’

In September Barry Ladies Choir welcomed their new musical director Emily Gait-Scaglioni a music teacher, conductor and accompanist living in Barry.  Emily brings a variety of experience to the role as she also co directs Spectrum Singers and accompanies Penarth Community Choir and Eisteddfod choir Côr Bryn Owain in Cowbridge.
