Adult Learner Week Learning & Employment Fair

What is it about?

The purpose of the event will be to celebrate National Adult Learners Week 18-23 September. During the week there will be a wide variety of activities taking place throughout Wales.

The event has been organised by the Vale Learning Network which comprises of a range of partners who are involved in Learning, Training, Employment, Wellbeing and Volunteering.

A wide range of organisations and employers will be available with advice and information about learning, training, support & guidance and jobs.

Drop in and find out about:

  • Learning & Training

  • Skills & Qualifications

  • Advice & Guidance

  • Volunteering

  • Health & Wellbeing

  • Job Vacancies - employers with current vacancies and support to apply for job

  • Taster Activities - including Arts & Crafts, Health & Beauty and Construction

GVS will be there to provide information on the hundreds of volunteering opportunities that can be available to you.
By Volunteering; you can improve your confidence, build on skills, learn new skills along the way, enhance your CV, improve your health and wellbeing, meet new people, gain a reference or use as a “taster” for a job interest.

Come along and check out the various stalls, gain some information and then come and have a chat to GVS.
