These courses are all FREE of charge for Vale of Glamorgan professionals to attend and are a blend of face to face and virtual sessions. The courses have been commissioned by the Vale of Glamorgan Council as a part of the Welsh Government’s plan to strengthen Parenting, and reduce Parental Conflict.

AXA and Business in the Community are partnering to deliver fully funded Youth Mental Health First Aid Champion training this Spring 2023. We know that the number of young people struggling with their mental health and wellbeing is higher now than ever before, with the COVID-19 Pandemic and the Cost-of-Living crisis having only exacerbated many of the triggers including poverty and inequality.

As another month comes to an end, we at Citizens Advice Cardiff & Vale wanted to let you know of what courses we have available during next month.

The biggest voluntary sector event of its kind in Wales. With over 70 FREE different masterclasses, panel debates and workshops taking place over the course of the week, there’s something for everyone.

The Cardiff and Vale Recovery and Wellbeing College has launched it’s new prospectus with lots of great free courses.

Citizens Advice Cardiff and Vale have been working hard to ensure they can provide training courses on a number of subjects, and suitable for frontline staff to attend.

Working together to raise awareness, address stigma, and reduce gambling related harms experienced by women.

Citizens Advice Cardiff and Vale are delivering free training on Migrants Rights and Entitlements on behalf of Welsh Government.

The project provides support to micro, small and medium sized heritage organisations or organisations running a heritage project to broaden their income streams and reach new audiences and people.

An ideal training course if you are new to managing volunteers or would like a refresher.

An invaluable step by step beginner level introduction to the key features, giving you the skills and knowledge to confidently use Twitter.

This session is for people who are thinking about using social media as a marketing tool to reach out and engage more people in your service.
