Advance Notice of GVS Conference & Annual General Meeting and Nomination to Glamorgan Voluntary Services (GVS) Board of Trustees
The GVS Conference & Annual General Meeting will be held “in person” at our CF61 Centre, Station Road, Llantwit Major, CF61 1ST on Monday, 7th November 2022 at 10.00am. Further details on how to register will be sent a little later but this is to give you notice so that you can save the date.

Do you need funding for a youth volunteering project or activity?
The Youth Led Grants Panel are delighted to announce that applications are now open for 2022/23 Youth Led Grant fund. The fund is a grant for youth volunteering projects and activities that take place in the Vale of Glamorgan. The Panel will be awarding grants of up to £1500 over the next few months.
GVS hosts an event
GVS, in partnership with the Vale of Glamorgan Council, hosted an event on Wednesday, 13th July focussing on the Shared Prosperity Fund. Over 120 registered for the event and it was the largest online audience we’ve ever had.

GVS in partnership with The Vale of Glamorgan Council invites you to a discussion about the UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF) and what this means for the Vale of Glamorgan. As one of the key investment priorities is ‘Community and Place’ this would be a great opportunity to discuss how our voluntary sector in the Vale can utilise this fund to deliver some great outcomes over the next three years.

GVS volunteer gardeners continuing their inspiring transformation
Our volunteers from our gardening project at CF61 in Llantwit Major have started work on the planters outside the staff entrance to the GVS offices at Illtud House. We have wooden planters and seating so our team and staff from other offices in the building can enjoy an outside space.

GVS Gardening Project Update
The gardening project volunteers from Glamorgan Voluntary Services (GVS) continues to excel and make a huge difference to CF61 and Illtud House in Llantwit Major. The dedicated volunteers have recently been working on the seating and planters in the shared courtyard at Illtud House, where tenants of the building can enjoy the outside space.
